Flag's 2009 Range Back in the conventional coatings world, Flag Paints has upgraded and simplified it's range of marine paints for 2009. Flag Cruising Antifouling is copper based and self eroding suitable for all displacement crafts up to around 8kts. Higher in active solids than comparable antifoulings, it's available from leading chandlers from around £29.95 inc VAT for 2.5L. Flag Performance Extra is a 'semi hard' antifouling offering top class protection for all craft in all waters and up to 35kts boat speed. Being made in Burnham-on-Crouch it's particularly suitable for high sediment rivers such as on the East Coast although equally good elsewhere. Extremely high in active solids, it offers great value at £69.95 inc VAT for 2.5L or £17.75 for 450ml. New to Flag this year is Multi-Purpose Metallic Primer, a universal base coat suitable for all below and above water applications on wood or metal offering good waterproofing and corrosion resistance.
