Paint maker bought out by management
The assets of CW Wastnage Ltd, makers of FLAG specialist paints and finishes
and FLAGship marine coatings have been recently purchased by the management
team. Led by Managing Director Tony Grover, the company is embarking on a
plan of both expansion and rationalization.
“We have so many superb products such as our FLAGship, Cruising and Trade
Antifoulings, Bilge and Deck Paint that we need to concentrate on these
products and take them to a wider audience” said Tony Grover. “We’ve already
made new inroads back into the Middle East and are currently recruiting
agents worldwide.”
Built up over many years by the late Geoff Wastnage, the son of the founder,
the company specializes in the manufacture and handling of solvent and water
based coatings in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex.
