SLIPPERY PAINT

Flagship Performance PTFE copper antifouling is described as being based on non-stick pan technology using a copper-rich, low friction PTFE mixture. It is said to increase hull speed, be easier to scrub and to reduce the amount of poison leeching into the water, because it is not self-eroding. It is also applied quite thinly, reducing build-up of paint on the hull. The paint contains metallic copper and comes premixed in 2.51tr and 11fr cans. It is designed for application by spray or roller and to dry extremely quickly, allowing 2-3 coats to go on in a day The paint is compatible with other PTFE or Teflon system, but will not go on over other antifouling.
