Best White Polish Made from bleached shellac but still contains the natural shellac wax, giving it a traditional creamy  white colour. This polish is for use on very light coloured woods or for sealing in wood dyes before waxing.

Black Polish Black polish for staining and french polishing furniture.

Brush Polish Heavy duty brushing quality French polish for uses on small areas where conventional french polishing proves to be difficult.

Button Polish (previously supplied by Screwfix) Button shellac is traditionally hand made from natural materials from the Indian Lac beetle. It is therefore less refined than machine made shellacs, however this gives added strength to the polish film and for this reason is often used as a finishing coat for a sealing stain. A useful polish to have in the workshop, but should be used with discretion due to it’s colour. When over applied it may produce a cloudy appearance that could hide the grain. The golden appearance will enhance some woods for example, Walnut. 

French Polish (brown) (previously supplied by Screwfix) Most commonly used french polish for use on dark woods, or where light woods need to be slightly coloured. Can be mixed with transparent or white polish to provide a hint of colour. 

Garnet Polish Dark polish for use on dark wood surfaces. To enhance the natural patina.

Heat Resisting Pale Polish High quality pale polish for use where heat resistance is a requirement. Gives a hard durable finish. A special order only product.

Shellac Sanding Sealer (previously supplied by Screwfix) A shellac sanding sealer made from a blend of shellacs and zinc stearate which is ideal for sealing new or stripped wood prior to waxing and french polishing. Ease of sanding ensures a perfect finish.

Special Pale Polish A high quality polish made from the finest bleached dewaxed shellac. Most suitable for finishing items such as inlay and marquetry in view of its clarity of film.

Transparent Polish Clear polish for use on light coloured furniture. Also used as a protective coating for ballet shoes.
